Hot food should be cooled to room temperature before being placed in to avoid causing the freezer to run continuously for a long time. Food should be sealed with fresh-keeping bags or fresh-keeping paper or placed in sealed containers to prevent moisture, loss of water, and flavor mixing. Foods with water should be dried before being placed in to avoid excessive frost formation due to a large amount of moisture evaporation. Note that liquids and glass containers should not be placed in the freezer to prevent freezing and cracking damage. Volatile, flammable chemicals and corrosive acidic and alkaline items should not be placed in to avoid damage.
